Economic Scenario of Kenya in 2016


Transition of Kenya produce major economic benefits through a green economy—which is equivalent to an estimated USD 45 billion by 2030- as well as it covers greater food security, a cleaner environment and higher productivity of natural resources, as per the new study launched by Government of Kenya as well as UN Environment Programme.

Report of Green Economy Assessment represents: Kenya finds a transition to inclusive, low emission, resource efficient green economy which will result in stronger economic growth which increased wealth creation opportunities by 2021.

Being with green economy scenario, with an investment of two percent of GDP, national GDP would exceed a business- in same way about 12 percent, and KES 3.6 trillion (which is equivalent to USD 45 billion) , by 2030.
